Our charming three bedroom cottage is located in Destin's popular community of  Crystal Beach. Conveniently located just one and one-half blocks from the pristine Emerald Coast beach, it is an easy walk and there are no busy streets to cross. With 20-foot high vaulted ceilings and a retractable wall of glass overlooking your own private pool, our home allows the outside to become part of your everyday living environment.  Every room contains a ceiling fan and the pool is surrounded by a 6-foot privacy fence. We have 4 TV's and 3 VCR's - one TV in each bedroom! Visit with the neighbors on the front porch Adirondack chairs, or if you prefer, enjoy the privacy of the secluded back yard.

The Great Escape is a wonderful retreat for families and couples. The contemporary decor and open floor plan allow you to relax in the comfort of our home. The location is convenient to the new Destin Commons cinema, Henderson State Park, Fort Walton Airport, Big Kahuna Water Theme Park, and various other local attractions.   Our home is KID FRIENDLY, as we are the proud parents of twin toddlers!  We have a pack 'n play and 2 booster seats as well as numerous pool toys for you to use while you are staying at our home.

Two of our bedrooms have queen size beds and the third room is perfectly situated for children with 2 sets of twin bunk beds!

Start your day with shopping or golf, hit the beach or sit by the pool, you can complete your day with a fabulous meal. Whether you are in the mood to dress up and go out, or grill out by the pool, it is your choice. Our home is centrally located to a wide-range of activities for all ages.

Our climate is ideal for year round visits. While most vacationers come during the summer months, Memorial Day to Labor Day, our off seasons offer wonderful weather as well as better rates.
